Partnership Enhances Mainstream Music Offerings from Getty Images Music

New York, NY – Getty Images, Inc., today announced an agreement with cutting-edge licensing and supervision entity, Atom Factory Music Licensing (AFML), founded by Music Manager Troy Carter (Lady Gaga), Music Supervisor Paul Stewart (Hustle & Flow) and the multi-platinum producing team The Co-Stars (BarberShop 1 & 2, Four Brothers). Through the agreement, Getty Images will serve as the commercial licensing and distribution platform for the AMFL music catalogue of sharp, hip tracks that embody art, pop and urban culture that is custom-made for today’s modern film.  Atom Factory’s content will be live beginning today.

As part of the partnership, Getty Images will gain access to over 1,000 custom-made hip-hop, pop and world music tracks that have been produced, procured and developed by Atom Factory’s talented executive staff and music supervisors, led by Troy Carter. AFML will also provide Getty Images Music with music supervision to add to its current music composition and licensing services, to further meet customers’ needs.

Atom Factory boasts an immensely talented group of music producers, music supervisors and artist managers and with Getty Images Music’s distinct ability to track trending in music and sync placements, this collaboration will bring a new edge to our music services,” said Vince Bannon, Vice President of Entertainment Partnerships and Development. “This partnership allows us to provide clients with music supervision expertise, music composition services and an exclusive library – a comprehensive service currently offered by no other music licensing company."

"We are thrilled to join forces with Getty Images Music to provide clients, such as music supervisors, agencies and film producers, with unprecedented access to our contemporary music library and music supervision expertise,” said Troy Carter, AFML Founder and CEO. “This partnership marks our first commercial licensing deal, and together with Getty Images Music, we look forward to bringing a comprehensive music solution to leading edge television, film and new media production to create a full-service experience at Getty Images Music."
